smoothie bowls for whenever

i've been neglecting myself and it's starting to show and most definitely take a toll. it's time to start doing something about it. i'm keenly aware that i need to be more intentional in caring for myself. and on this self care journey i need to be inclusive in all aspects of my life, i need to do more than just setting time aside to read and binge watching my favourite series. i need to get back to working out, both at home and at the gym, i need to go to bed at a decent hour because i find myself tired way too often, i need to start eating more, at the right time and more of the right things. i love food but i'm not the best at eating, does that even make sense?....i struggle to want food, much less get anything down if i'm feeling anxious, sad, nervous, angry, excited etc and if i'm busy, eating is easily sacrificed. as you can see, i have a lot of unlearning to do, i need to reacquaint myself with discipline and with being consistent in my self care actions. these past couple of days i made smoothie bowls for breakfast (the meal i skip out on the most) and i've been enjoying them quite a bit, i typically do not enjoy drinking smoothies due to their consistency, however, i've quite enjoyed eating them from a bowl. they're super easy to make, as you've probably gathered and with the addition of some superfood powders, they deliver quite a healthy dose of vitamins and nutrients. grab the recipes below.
